Commitment to sustainability

Being a product of the only true Single Estate, Farm to Bottle Rum producer in the Philippines, we at Mama Luna are proud to share with you that there is zero waste in our system. Left over sugarcane fibers, (referred to a sugarcane trash) are collected and used as a form of biomass to power the mill and distillery; the residual material left on the fields is converted into organic matter needed for fertile soil; furthermore, the remaining distillation residue is also applied onto the farms as fertilizer.

As stewards of the land, this is how Mama Luna fulfills our commitment to the environment and to future generations.
